The new Termis are better, but still ugly IMO. What is the point of 2-1-2 systems? Two cans just looks dumb coming off of one pipe like that. If it was a 2-1 system with that can shape it would lok much better, and free up the SSS. Just remove the lower can.

Something like this:

So long as the pipe wasn't shaped like that, I'd throw a +1 in too, but that geometric oddity doesn't do it for me.  I think the Akrapovic looked similar in shape, but better, here's there 2-pipe system:

Isn't it a sin to put Akro's on a Ducati or Termi's on a KTM?  ;D

That new stock exhaust is awful. It's almost blasphemous to cover up that SSS.

So sort of off topic but why bother to have a SSSA if your just going to cover half of it up with exaust, which most Italians seem to do.

Drunken Monkey

The SSSA is what lets you have the fat exhaust tucked in close to the rear wheel in the first place.

Personally, I like the look.

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

I think people complained a lot about the 696/796/1100 exhaust. It heats up your ass. This keeps most of the heat to the side and away from your ass.

That looks pretty rad - even if it is a sin, you're probably forgiven. :)

yeah, it's the headers running through the subframe that really make it run hot.  kinda sucks... but hey, would it really be a ducati if there wasnt something like this that happens all the time?
