Good fun for sure.  The DFWM forum was well represented; great to catch up with y'all.  But I really must admit, the next time I have crawfish they will be previously disected... The whole process was a bit... um, gross  laughingdp  Geez, can't take me anywhere!

Don't worry Lisa. Being a Pac NW native, the process of discectting these little critters is foreign to me. Seems like WAY too much dirty work to me. M's Asian genes trump my cracker upbringing in these matters so I just go with the flow.

I guess it is pretty gross if you think about it...  Wendy and I have never really bothered to do that, though.  Wink

As with sausage, if you like 'em, don't ask too many questions.

Maybe the next ride needs to end at the new Dodie's on Greenville Ave. Crawfish etoufee is a lot easier way of getting crawfish in your mouth, and the Dubliner is right across the street.

Man, I love crawfish etouffee.  Margeux's etouffee is good and so is Pappadeux's.  Can't say I've tried it at Dodie's.  Proximity to The Dubliner is always a plus... So, when is this happening?  Grin

Maybe this needs to be one of those mid-week get-togethers. I don't think I can wait for the next ride.
The problem with the Dodie's next to the Dubliner is, it ain't open yet. bang head But it should be good when it does open.
The original is still open on Lower Greenville, opposite Whole Foods:
