M620 Rear sliders for hollow axle

Hey folks, I'm a bit confused.  I don't see anyone selling rear axle sliders for the M620, but it's got a hollow rear axle so it should be a piece of cake.  We've got R&G sliders on the front axle and R&G makes a rear axle slider for other bikes, so I'm confused why I can't find rear sliders for the M620.

What am I missing here?

Ideally I'd like to find something that fits in the rear axle and incorporates spools for easy use with a rear stand, but I can't find anything like that.

Any ideas or pointers on something that could be made to work?

Thanks,
Phil.

I found these for several different Ducati flavors with conventional swingarm and hollow rear axle.  This is exactly what I want - it seems to me that if I can find something with the same diameter hollow axle (or bigger) and the same axle length (or longer), then it wouldn't be hard to fit them to the 620:

If I order something with a larger dia than the 620's axle, then it's a straightforward matter to turn them down on a lathe, and similarly cutting down the rod that runs through the axle isn't that complicated.  For me, the real question is how come nobody is making such a project for the bike?  Or why can't I find it if they are?

I've dropped my bike a few times and I don't recall that area touching anything.  Maybe you don't see them because they are not needed?

YMMV and all that.

Perhaps this sentence from that link may explain why:

***** Important! Not recommended for models with the low mount exhausts as the spools will interfere with the exhaust when the shocks are at the extremity of their travel.

Well, duh.  Thanks!

The bike is at the fab shop now having some spools added so it'll work with my rear lift/stand.  Thanks Speeddog for the clarification.

You're welcome, glad it's working out for you.  :)
