Yeah, refs didn't see the puck hit Sedin on that icing call. The winning goal was a lucky bounce of Marleau's stick, but end result is Sharks are done. They were outplayed in the majority of the other games in the series probably because they burnt themselves out on the Detroit series after almost blowing a 3-0 game lead. Sharks need to re-think their roster for next year.
But if you're them, what changes can you make without rebuilding? I thought a lot of their traditional softies acquitted themselves well this year.

Beyond the 4-5 big names (I do not include Dany Heatley here), the rest of the talent really drops off. Their biggest issue is they don't have any young guys being developed on the farm. So their only recourse is to trade away some of the guys that didn't perform and, yes, rebuild.

Canucks/Bruins for Lord Stanley's Cup.  [popcorn]

For you geeks that don't know.

"The Stanley Cup, notably the oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in North America, was donated in 1892."
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Game one tonite.  [popcorn]

Who's gonna take it? I'm picking Van, but only because of their powerplay. Seems Boston has a way of throwing a wrench in things and coming out on top.

Boston was supposed to bring the big hits, but I think the Canucks brought it so far tonite. 13 penalty's so far.  [popcorn]

The way the goalies played, it felt like the entire third period was an overtime period. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Game 3 tonight. I expect a more desperate Bruins team. Hopefully it will be as entertaining as the first two.
