I'm trying to figure the current market value on my '00 M750 for an insurance claim. Bike has 34,000 miles and is in excellent shape. List of mods is as follows

Sil Moto SS megaphone slip-ons
Renthal black streetbars
Spiegler SS brake & clutch lines
Pazzo Racing levers
Dart Flyscreen
Art carbon fiber SBK front fender
NGK sparkplug cables
DP Monster Storm gas tank
Race Tech front fork springs
Hagon monoshock
Sargent seat
CRG Hindsight bar end mirrors
K&N air filter
Dynajet Stage II kit

Thanks in advance

If it's for an insurance claim, would that not mean there is damage? If I had the money, I would offer $2200.

I'd figure a base price of around 2500-3000 and then add 50% current retail cost for each of your hardware mods.

The 750s (and 620s) don't command a huge resale value and mods rarely get too much in resale.   Some insurance companies will let you specify the original dollar amount, you should probably ask them how to valuate the mods.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Yeah, it's an insurance deal. Long story short, church van backed into it in parking at work. Their insurance company is saying it's a total loss, with the damage to the tank, scratched frame plus one pazzo lever, a CRG hindsight, and bent shifter. Problem is that even if I take a check and buy it back, it'll have a salvage title and my ins. agent says they won't sell me anything but liability. I sent them invoices today for $2100 in parts & accessories I've spent in the last 2 1/2 years. The estimates for the parts (regular metal tank) and frame repainting was $3700.

Write it off and sell everything you can aftermarket if you have the stock stuck to put back on.  In my experience you will never be happy with the outcome if you think someone is going to pay you - namely insurance company - for accessories.

My plan is to push the "diminished value" of the bike w/salvage title in addition to the mods done in the last 2 or so years. The pregnant dog of the matter is that even tho all the damage is purely cosmetic I'd still have to pay an additional $125 "inspection" fee to DMV to put it on the road again. bang head
