I honestly don't know where he is at now. I'm sure totalruckus will have a better idea since he is a demi-god over there.
I met Wan in Fayetteville NC when he finished up his circumnavigation of the US. He did 18,000+ miles in 9 months on his ruckus. He then sold raffle tickets for it, generating over $5,000, which he then donated to the Make a Wish Foundation. I had ridden my ruckus up from Charleston, which was quite a task. He's a great guy, and we all drank a ton of beers that night. I also had the pleasure of riding my ruckus with him and about 20 other guys at the time. Super fun time. I'm glad to see that he's at it again.
Wan is in the middle, I'm on the right.
Dude, that's awesome! I was supposed to meet him in D.C., I live in Virginia Beach so I thought I would catch him on the blue ridge parkway at least. I know a member, though it may have been from the old forum, went out and showed him around. Wan is the man, I get exhausted riding my little dirtbike around for extended miles, don't know how he did it on a ruck. I hope to pick one up soon though, always wanted one
