Yesterday it snowed and sleeted most of the day.  Today its sunny but high winds and it doesn't look like there is much hope here in the near future either.  I'm pretty bummed.  The one really nice morning for riding resulted in tornados within 4 miles of the house and a fair amount of damage in the area.  I've already been in two tornados and hit by lightning so I feel that I've had my quota of bad weather.

As I get older, I have less patience for crappy weather. It seems as though each year there is less and less good weather for riding. If the economy in Arizona or Nevada would support skilled labor, I'd be out of here.

My buddy has a 1000 acre place for sale in New Mexico - the problem is you have to drive 150 miles to find a road with a curve in it.

We've always liked the Albuquerque area, not the city but the area around. Lots of nice roads for riding.

They are talking about 8 to 10 inches of snow here again today - this truly sucks.  I want to be riding and paddling my kayak - not shoveling snow.

I couldn't agree more. Maybe later in the week. I hope.

12 days till the Slimy Crud Run - hope the weather straightens out by then.  I'd sure like to have a couple hundred more miles under my belt before taking in that 350 mile spin.

Got about 10" of snow here - got up at 2:00AM to shovel the driveway so my wife could get in the driveway after work.  She put the Jeep in the ditch and got pulled out by one of her coworkers.  She went back into town and slept in the Jeep untlil the plows came by.  Then she still had to shovel the mouth of the driveway out where the plow had pushed the snow back in.  They are talking more snow here Friday and 50's for the weekend.  Maybe it will be melted enough for a spin Saturday.

Here is about 25 miles West of Oshkosh.  We got cranked pretty hard the last couple of weeks with tornados and blizzards.  Pretty soon I'll be belly aching about the mosquitoes.
