For my S2R 800:
Spark midpipe from Motowheels.com - to be ceramic coated in black along with the S pipes and muffler end caps.
Perforated tubing and packing to do a proper job of coring my exhaust
Carbon fibre cloth to laminate my cored can sleeves  Shocked

Maybe also steel reinforcing band to protect the carbon sleeves?

Take lots of pictures - this needs to go into Tutorials waytogo

Re: Rivet straps, the only place that I have been able to find them is Exhaust Parts UK.  With shipping, it will cost around US $40.00 for 4 bands.  I'm not against spending $40.00.  I just think it's a bit steep.  I found another place in UK that has them for much less.  But they are not set up for online sales and they haven't answered my emails.

I will post pics when I'm done.  It may be a little while since I'm away on business all next week.

Just installed my new Quat D Ex-Box on my 08 S2R1000. I removed the factory installed baffle as well. Gotta say I LOVE the way this system sounds! Went together without much issue. Took maybe an hour to remove the old system and install the new one. Next is a tail chop and then the clutch cover and new pressure plate. I think I am going to rebuild the suspension. The factory suspension just doesn't handle my 6'-1" 250lb frame very well... lol

X-box looks awesome!  waytogo Try adjusting your suspension; it only takes about ten minutes. My 07 S2R 1000 suspension was too soft for my portly frame with the stock settings, but with a few clicks to tighten it up a bit, the suspension works better.
