I hate those grips... they are all goopy in the sun.  It's kind of gross when your grips snot on your gloves.  I still need to get a set that isn't all goopy.

Ive had Bridgestone BT054's, Bridgestone BT016's, Pirelli Diablo Rosso's and a Pirelli Angel.
Each better than the last, so I'm anxious to see if the Mushies live up to all the hype.  (and even if they dont...theyll still be better flat than those goddamn BT054's!!)

A "2" to stick on the speedometer face next to the odometer (to replace the "1" that is now obsolete).

Also, last month a new base gasket for the vertical cylinder, and 3 new head studs (apparently I still had those 3 left of the faulty design ones used when it was built), and some other top end seals and o-rings that were dried out and in some cases actually crumbly.  Good thing I never wash it -- the dirt was the only thing keeping the oil inside.

New clutch and front brake master cylinders (barely used from a 796).

A few months ago, a rebuild of the forks.

If I'm correct, there should be an adjusting screw on the lever.  Make sure you just have enough free play, which mean don't turn this screw in completely to make the lever too tight.  I ran into that problem on my so I turn the screw out and give a free play of about 1-2mm before the brake acctually applied.
