And it was a blast.  Stayed at Frio Springs in Leakey (pronounced lay-key, not leak-ey, though the leak-ey eagles were quite hilarious).  Anyways, I'm used to the twisties on the Million Dollar highway (Durango, CO to Ouray, CO).... an the sisters were a whole different animal.  Great trip! I suggest everyone do it!  [moto]

congrats on surviving the suicide deer as well.  Grin
I have a 300 mile route you could have taken while down there as well.  Next time let me know and I'll send it to you.  Glad you enjoyed the Texas Hill country.

Corpus Christi.  It's 200 miles away... but I have a tent.  waytogo

Also, here's the old man on his R1200GS (those are probably 25% dirt / 75% road tires):

Gonna be getting some big prints made for the old man's shop.  Also gonna get the digitals.

There are plenty of edges... but they all seem to have guard rails.  Methinks it would have been worse to test those than it was to see if my Duck could fly.

Oh, and KRJ, I can carry my own IB's now Cheesy
