I think I might be up for this!

Can I bring a friend along?

What time are you thinking about meeting up?

I'm free all day Sean.  Early is better.  We could meet off the 210 and take Lower Tujunga, the over to Acton and up to the Crest via Aliso, Angeles Forrest, and Upper Tujunga.  Of course you can bring a friend!

I don't think I've ever been that way.

This is the route I usually take...

Keep going on the 210 and exit at Osborne, turn right onto Foothill, then a left onto Lower Tujunga.  Over the hills to Canyon Country, right on Soledad and take it into Acton.  Right on Aliso Canyon.  Turn right on Angeles Forrest, left on Upper Tujunga (aka 9 Mile), ends on Angeles Crest.  Turn left to go to Newcomb's.

Wow, that's quite a loop. Never been that way. Took me a while to figure out Lower Tujunga is Little Tujunga.

Change of plans...I'm probably heading up to Willow Friday to catch the first day of the vintage races.

How early are you thinking? I work late Thursday night.

that's a good route, I did the same a couple weeks ago?  month ago?  AFH is also open and connects to ACH.  When I went both AFH and Upper Big T were dirty dirty dirty (and not in a good way), but it was that first sunny day after the rains let up for a couple days.

For me going down ACH/AFH felt easier than up UBT, but I'm not sure why.  More sweepers?  Not sure, but it was not as mentally taxing as UBT (for me).  Your mileage may vary.

Hwy 33...was up there yesterday...nice ride.  Up the 33 to 166, Cerro Noroeste  into Frazier Park, then back to 33 via Lockwood Valley.  200 miles total.  Road all to myself.  Paid my respects at the corner where the four bikes crashed last weekend (and yes, it was the same corner my brother rolled his Miata off).

Heading up to ACH and Newcomb's tomorrow.  Might be joined by the guy that bought my Monster.
