Tomorrow, Cierra is having a yard sale, so Jed and I are planning on hiding somewhere. Saturday night is Amber's party (Im sure everyone is welcome!), then working Sunday morning till about 930AM.
I still need to change the oil in the Duc, cant ride it till I get that done.

I'm hitting McNamee at lunch - leaving at ~11:30.
Meeting some other riders at Alta Performance - corner of Shute and Dawson Creek just off 26.

I did hit Skyline around that time. I didn't see any of you all. All I saw was a couple bicycles... you on one of them??

I was up there at Noon, my course took me from beaverton up cornell to skyline, north on skyline then over to that secret road (mc make the beast with two backs i forgot the name) .....then up 30 over to germantown road, up germantown to skyline, up skline then i turned around and did the whole dam thing over again.
i saw a yellow bike once in a quick flash up on skyline parked at that bar at the top there. Was that you Neikos?
oh yeah, im getting tired of all the bicycles up there....jesus.

Yah, me and a guy on a Shadow.
Heard an R1 go by all "eeeeeeeeee" a couple of times. The guy was parading in front of the bar or something . . .
Heard another bike but didn't see it. That must have been you.

Who's riding Sunday 6/22, and where? The wife is working a lot tomorrow, so I have a kitchen pass.
Anybody wanna attempt the world land speed record from Estacada to Detroit?
How about the Hood Loop, returning on the Washington side? Of course, I hear the Pacific Ocean is lovely this time of year, too.
I'm looking to do some epic ridin' tomorrow. I've got me a $10 dollar cargo net, so I'm gonna bring my Geritol, Metamucil and One-a-Day vitamins strapped to the back seat. That'll keep me going all day long.
If anybody wants to come along, let me know. Beer and Brats at my house afterwards to top off the perfect day.

The Coast will be a little wet in the morning. Misting here started about 6 pm. Forecast looks good. I got a nice ride in today before the rain.

From the ODOT website, dated one week ago:
June 14, 2008
Snow Conditions : Snow begins around the 3800 ft elevation with snow on the roadways.
Access and use changes :
Road 63 closed at Little Fan Creek Campground (Hot Springs Fork) due to road failure. There is still access to Bagby Hot Springs.
Road 46 closed through to Detroit due to snow.
I doubt that snow melted in just one week. I think no world land speed record attempt to Detroit today. There will be sunny days ahead.
Looks like the wiser choice is to ride closer to home. [moto]

All right boys and girls, here's my angle.
My hangover is burning off at the same rate as the mist outside. I figure by 12:30 the sun will be out and it will be prime riding.
I'm gonna go down to the gelato shop on NW23rd between 12:00 and 1:00, fuel up on caffeine and
girl
people watching (cough), and wait for some like-minded riders to show up.
Final route and destination t.b.d.
Catch you later.
