And you wouldn't believe it, what, only a year or so ago Steve aka Rendang was letting farmers cows escape while doing running repairs on his bike (have video as evidence), now he is again starring in another video.....sucking up to MV for fuel........yes, thats right......a 4 valve guy giving his emergency fuel to a 2 valver.   GOLD i'd say "Stefan"   Grin

Mark/Betty (male), I just happened to be in the vicinity of  Mt Hotham/Beauty and by chance spotted this familiar OZMO celebrity obviously practicing for his next mount at the gg's i'd say........

I have used a similar technique in the past ... although with my frame/proportions and lack of flexibility/coordination I am certain it looked far less graceful than that.

Brian you and I both know why Rendang used more fuel than all the other bikes on our little Alpine tour

Apparently excesive overtaking uses more fuel  cheeky  laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

I don't think there was 'excessive' overtaking however I probably did use some extra fuel getting past some perennial slowcoaches.   Roll Eyes

          ANOTHER reason I despise Harley's.
On another subject, this weekend due to double demerits and so much stuff to do around the place I decided not to ride however I did drive to visit relo's today and was stopped at a red light behind a Harley and 4 or 5 other cars. When the light turned green the Harley stalled and the cars in front of me carefully drove around him as he fiddled about trying to get it started. By the time I got passed I didn't notice that the light had turned red and yes, it was a 'safety camera' intersection and I got pinged.  Really really aggravating as it was entirely my own fault but 6 points and $300+ ouch, really hurts.   Cry    Cry    Cry

Hey Steve
Double demerits is only for speeding and seatbelt /helmet offences. so you should only be up for 3 points :'(

Double demerit points Double demerit points apply for speeding, seatbelt and motorcycle helmet offences during all holiday periods such as long weekends, Christmas, New Year and Easter.

Well, from what I remember, we all decided to keep a safe distance between bikes, hence the gap....when everyone is travelling at the same speed I find it a bit nonsensical to overtake........sorta reminds me of what happens when one leaves a distance between a car.........another one slips in.........maybe its just soft cock syndrome............  but my points are intact.....and my bones unbroken     Grin
Thats my one bug bear with bike riders , we all secretly feel that we are better or faster than the guy in front of us, guess I just prefer to go with the flow and enjoy the ride without breaking any records... waytogo
In a way I don't blame the cops for their "presence" up on the old pacific hwy either.....if you are scraping the weekend warriors off the road dam near every weekend, its got to have an affect on you. I'm sick today so I need to have a whinge........... coffee

Well Brian, you may be feeling unwell, but you do have your stirrers cap firmly on.  applause    I'm struggling to remember when I lost any points, broke any bones, broke any records, got scraped off the road or committed any other of the numerous sins you've so generously outlined above on an Ozmo's ride or any other ride over the last 35 yrs.  Huh?  If you think anything at all is "not on" or "out of order" with my riding please just say so at the time, you had four days after all.  For some reason, like yesterday, I seem to lose points while doodling around the suburbs in the car. Maybe on the bike I'm naturally more alert and in the car I relax and don't pay as much attention as I should ?
Anyway I gotta be more carefull now as I'm about halfway to losing my licence.

Having said all of that, if on the last ride I was a little overenthusiastic, got in someones way, overtook at the wrong time or place or was in anyway inconsiderate of my fellow riders then I do apologise, no bad intent there, must of just got a bit carried away with the best roads in Australia, just don't get down there often enough I reckon.  Smiley

Hey Steve I think Teff Dose of anal diarrhea has again turned into verbal diarrhea again. Cheesy
And all that crap from Teff is a bit rich from a man that drops his bike in a servo in front of a crowd after refueling Grin Roll Eyes

And remember chaps what happens on tour stays on tour Dolph popcorn

I think your sleeping arrangments at the Bogan moth motel has made Teff  jelouse man.

Yes Rob I know well what a stirrer he is, honestly I don't pay attention to 99% of what he say's or does. Funny that he WAS very quiet about the only person who actually dropped his bike on that trip. Fair enough it was at a servo, but still, its all about awareness, paying attention and bikecraft. You'd think that if he learned anything from that little incident he would post it up for the edification of all the members. Or wait, maybe he posted up a full analyses under "Riding Techniques" on the Main Board ? probably should check in their before jumping to conclusions.

Does anyone in here love fishing as much as me.......?
You bait your hook, then throw it over in an attempt to catch a fish. From what i'm lead to believe, its usually the dummest most gullible little guy that bites, takes the bait and gets caught.....hook, line and sinker they say...... Grin
And as for Steve, I can't believe the barbs coming from our nthn beaches faternity at you mate. Rest assured, my "deliberate baited trap" bought out the worst in them...... coffee    You just hang in there sunshine, they have absolutely no sense of humour like you and I...... Grin

Honda S90 by Airtech Streamlining  laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

California based Airtech Streamlining are manufacturers of "the world's largest selection of motorcycle fairings and bodywork", producing parts for land speed racing, track racing, vintage motorcycles and even drag bikes. At this year's 2012 Vegas Motorcycle Auction Airtech owner and founder Kent Riches offered up a motorcycle that was far from what we expected. This is the Airtech Honda RS90 R Cafe Racer, a completely revised Honda Sport 90 that embodies heritage racing style and showcases just how flexible the Airtech product range can be.
