Absolutely! Staintunes, can't get much louder lol.

After that and the truck rollover that we got pulled up for while they positioned the crane I still managed to make it to the cafe and Kim made me a fantastic latte and chicken wrap for dinner  Grin

Yeah well the  Police's reckon there is no finger pointing with this new motorcycle safety campaign! Koff, Koff!  Roll Eyes

But they only stated the rider injury/ deaths stats and didnt mention the reasons why! Just the fact that we speed most of the time (Allegedly info got from riders?!)  Huh? Isnt that finger pointing??

Unless car drivers get banged severely when they screw us up (Heavy fine and BIG points, and slammed in court) not the piss ant "Fail to give way" on the spot thing with a miniscule fine and a couple of points!! Piece of piss while the rider is bloody near finished!!  Shocked

They will NOT change their attitudes towards us as road users unless the BIG LEGAL STICK is wielded and more severe penalties enforced!?  Police

I know they have shit attitudes towards us as I have, and I'm sure other have overheard plenty of these clowns telling their mates/girlfriends that we shouldnt be on the roads and we can all get stuffed (Along with pushies, pedestrians etc)

Its funny how the minoriries on the roads cop the shit while the major causers of the carnage only get slapped not slammed!!  bang head

Maybe its just all too hard for the Cops/Govt to do the RIGHT thing! Easier to belt the minorities and be seen to be doing something!!  Roll Eyes

Today's story..

Staying at the outlaws in Penrith and decided to go for a ride into Fraser's to have a look and such.
Stopped at MCAS on the way and tried on some leather jackets

Anyway, parked the monster out front of the Ducati side of the store, browsed the used bikes outside (found an M1100S that i REALLLLY liked).
Wandered round inside and out the front for about 30-45 mins and did not get served by one single person! Wasn't dressed like a bum, had the work corporate shirt on, Was just enjoying the sights in the shop, Hoping to talk to someone about some questions on the M1100S out front as well as a new evo.

PS.. They've got the new Panigale on display, tricolore coming next month. Very very hwwt!

Sort yourselves out Fraser Motorcycles!

Here's an idea for those stupid people in government that run our country. bang head
How to save everyone $$ and the planet fossil fuel.
We all need transport especially in this convoluted city of Sydney. vomit
If we had more choice we would use that choice. waytogo
Due to the high cost of rego and CTP insurance we tend to only have one or two vehicles.
So if you own a gas guzzling SUV like I do as you need it for xxxx in my case taking four of my mates and all our gear mountain bike riding going to the tip surfing etc you get the picture.
If I want to go Woolies for some  drink and its raining I use the truck = waste of fuel and money right.
If we all could own more vehicles that were more specific to the journey we take, a 125 scooter or small bike to nip down to the shops , a 4 x 4 for some dirty fun on the weekends, a big block V8......  well just because  Evil , a Monster a sports bike . We would use the appropriate transport for each journey.

By owning more vehicles we add to the economy in many ways...............so all they have to do is
make a blanket rego / insurance for each person/house that covers all their vehicles , basically you can only use one at a time. Bingo you can have your cake and eat it too ,
I would love to have an options .
Jump on the scooter to work or the shops jump on the Monster for Coffee up the Old road .
All it takes is some lateral and creative thinking something that Government seems to be in short supply off.
For crying out loud we are in 2012
Donning cynic's hat  ......oh that's right its all about the tax revenue not the people
Wednesdays rant.

And also making public transport free would have many benefits like reduce road congestion and  make riding the extra 2 or 3 bikes I would own under your scenario so much more enjoyable.  waytogo
Having just paid rego and insurance on a car and a bike, I empathise, I empathise.

Dez I have been having this very argument with the NRMA for years primarily regarding their own roadside assist ... but as the 'motoring advocate' they claim to be it is also relevant regarding rego and insurance. I have never had the time or inclination to find the right person to talk to in government about it (as if it would do any good).

With regard to my conversations with the NRMA (and there have been many) they think it is unfair that a two car family of five would have to pay for each individual (if that is the path to take as they do in other states). I claim it is far worse for us to have to pay 7 times when we can only use a maximum of two vehicles at a time. As 'motoring enthusiasts' we are far less likely to call on their services than the family of five running there shitbox into the ground anyway.

Suffice to say they have lost some business from us ... and I think my suggestion was a better business model for them - so it appears a lack of lateral thinking can also cruel their chances of actually making more money.

Racv do a coverage for the person rather than the vehicle ,

so any vehicle you are using at the time or are in then you can call for the assistance
