Its a gorgeous low k bike, one of only 150 made. If people are asking and getting good dollars for a tricolore monster ($18-20,000) then i'd say Rob may get it. Good on him if he does........  for obvious reasons now, I hope he does, and if so, I can't wait to post it.    applause

not a harsh comment directed at anyone

it was a statement of who is the sucker thats going to pay $20K for a 998 when market of 998's is well behind that

can live in hope

and i also said if someone does buy it then great

sure they are nice bikes, maybe you can get a buyer from dubai that is a made matrix fan

i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

Hey Dude welcome back.  Cheesy
For the service, I would go to the Ducati guru's,  bow down D moto at Clyde, check out the  sticky service thread,
They do tyres as well, but probably not the cheapest, though I guess you could find any bike shop closer to you for Tyers? , i got my last set at Balmain Tyers.

Not long later, the "familiar face" , well............. Shocked........................ hmmmm

Maybe he was repairing the fence that  Steve/Rendang bastardised a couple of years back.........

And just in case a few newbies haven't seen this.......its a classic    !      waytogo  I piss myself every time i watch this.....   applause

Thanks Rob. Will acquire rubber locally.. Service booked!

Is it true the big blue team still hate termis on oldpac? and is it also true mogrels tie wire across the road on the back of wisemans ferry to stop casual riders? and where the hell is Jukie! Wink

Craig, the "one off" wire episode is hopefully just that, a one off incident from a disgruntled local.

As for tires, try out Team Moto, Sunnyholt Rd, Blacktown, they were the cheapest for me.

Good to see you back mate, been there, done that as well...........

Is your mobile number still the same  ?

As for the old road, as long as you try not to stand out they tend to leave you alone. an un named OZMO  member had a chat with a cop up there a month or so ago. He said that they usually turn a blind eye up to 10k over, don't hold me to it though. Groups of bikes up each others tail also get noticed, plus bikes on the rear wheel are a no no.

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

« Reply #2758 on: December 21, 2013, 05:21:32 PM »

Rekindles my dream of shoving a Ducati motor in a FIAT Bambino. At 187hp it would have a mere 10x the power of a stock 500 motor.

All that is holding me back is the time, money and expertise to make it happen ... and it would be a much better solution than an Italian engine in a (less than stylish) German car.
