G'day El Tonio..

Every day in every way...   Grin

How's things with yourself?

Good mate. Empty nesters now so ready to downsize and move out a bit further. Planning my M750 Scrambler build. There are a lot of dirt roads to explore in the Yarra Valley.

On the way home from my Sunday ride to Yarra Glen, I saw some roadkill.

You know how it goes...

Roo, roo, DEER!

Well, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later!

I told my class about it on Monday. One student said that they were playing junior footy at Hurstbridge, when, about half a dozen deer came onto the oval. They paused the game until the deer wandered off!

Brave new world!

A few years ago in Gariwerd (Grampians), I saw more deer than roos, but recently didn't see one due to the culling programme I guess. I hope they can do that successfully in the Valley. Night riding in summer is getting too risky and morning summer rides are the best time in Feb, but the risk at twilight is a worry.

Thinking about a bull bar for the ute and whistlers on the bike. Do the whistlers work?

Ung, he might be older than me, but he’s certainly not the slower of us two! LOL!

When it comes to riding, I’m the old codger!
