Evening all.

I'm a bit excited... I got 1 more month until Holiday.

Sorry, had to share. It's been pouring rain, cold, and windy here and the only thing keeping me warm right now is the thought of relaxing in shorts and flip-flops while enjoying a beer and looking at the pretty Australian girls.

Speaking of which, think it's possible to get a SCUBA cert while there?

well slowpoke Me and Betty are master scuba divers but not qualified as an instructor. You  should be able to book in to do a dive course, but will will be busy around this time for most dive operator. the weather here has not been really good for diving or the beach at the moment. but yes you will have to book and usually will take a few days to get a cert for open water course. check on the net, there is Prodive, that where we got a cert from, but there is plenty of over operator around.

Thanks Jukie.

It was really just a whim. If I get the opportunity, I'll go for it. Otherwise, I'll wait for Spring here. There are a few people on the ship who are working to get the classroom time done here followed by dives when we hit an available port (probably Guam, Saipan, somewhere in the Marianas, or Southern Japan).

Yes Trev so what did you get up too. We met up with Craigo and Steph at the road warriors and had a bit of a chat and saw Steph new Virgin Seat,  and guess what is it cheaper than yours, and probably holds more too.

The Virgin Bag (AKA Ducati Performance Tailbag) for the 696 is pretty nifty imo; you need to remove the cowl to install it, but once it's on it really isn't going anywhere.

Without bag installed:

With Bag installed:

You can expand it to make it bigger as well, big enough to fit a helmet. and when it's removed from the bike the bag turns into a backpack.
