Photos of my trip are still coming....

But in the meantime I did a one day photography course at Melbourne Zoo last weekend with a very interesting bloke called Chris Bray.

So now I can understand it when you more experienced photographers talk about histograms and f-stops.  laughingdp

I would recommend this course for anyone who has yet to use every button on their digital camera and those contemplating the purchase of a digital SLR - they loan them free on the course.  It's sponsored by Canon so it's Canon-centric but he does translate for Nikon users.

I have $30 discount vouchers if anybody wants them. There's also a discount if you are a member of Aust. Geographic.

My award winning shots here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=169208&id=840149860&l=cedc784b89

Check out Chris here: http://www.chrisbray.net/

check this shit out:

I think we have seen that before ... but it is worth seeing again - if only for the rare opportunity to see someone from that 'scene' that knows how to wear pants applause.

Imagine walking down the street and seeing some 'dude' riding his pushie across the top of a palisade fence, doing somersaults off trees or disappearing over the side of a bridge (like some of the later shots) bacon.
