Here are a few pics of a town near were my folks live called Ochsenfurt:
This town was founded around the year 750
They even have Ducs:

How far are you from Ellweiler? That's where my family is from in Germany.....near Luxembourg.

We are 320 km from Ellweiler which could take anywhere from close to 3 hrs or a lot less if you choose to take a high speed trip on the Autobahn...remember...no speedlimit
