These are from ebay seller royalspreemotors2010.  Paid $70.  Out of all the ones one ebay, these looked the most solid/highest quality.  They had good pictures and even a video showing the movements of the mirrors.

First impression out of the box is that the quality is very good.  I like the knurl surface on the back of the mirror.  It gives it a nice touch.

Installation was super simple.  Just removed the stock end caps and in with the new mirrors.  One bolt expands the bar end to lock it in place.

I left the stock mirrors on so I can get a comparison of the visibility.

As you can see.  The new convex mirrors have a wider range of visibility compared to the stock mirrors.  You can now see directly behind you with out having to lean over and tuck your elbows in.

Pics with the stock mirrors off.

Now for a road test.  I tested these on my 30mi commute to work.  Visibility has increased as mentioned before.   Because the mirrors are mounted on a rubber pivoting ball, vibration is non existent.  The stock ones would vibrate during hard acceleration.  I've taken it up to 90mph and the mirrors held up and didn't move.

The only down side is that the mirrors stick out another 3" beyond the handle bars.  Here in AZ where you can't split lanes, it is not a big deal.  You can always have the option of folding them in.  But when you fold them back out, you might have to adjust them again.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality and functionality of the product.

i got them on ebay too. they are cast though and dont have the nice CNC marks on teh back end, but otherwise they look identical.

In the end, because they are bar ends, they will not survive a crash. end of the story. CRG or not, they will get busted up someway. However a real CRG has a REALLY nice mirror.

I have Rizoma Circuits now which dont work for shit. but look sweet.  Tongue

I've also used the cheapo $20 units on my 620 and my girlfriends 696.  They install the same and have the same usability.  The visibility improvement is drastic compared to the factory "elbow-watchers".

I also have the ebay $15-20 ones (no CNC marks on the back though) and they are very nice. Don't move around and get the job done well.

Can you guys post up links to both the $70 set and $20 sets of mirrors. There are just way too many on ebay.

these can't be any worse than any of the other cheapos... $11 shipped by my math.

I have these exact ones and they're fine.  They don't shake at speed and didn't strip out putting them on, I'm pleased.

Don't look at this

forget the mirrors, dude that's one serious chain!  But I wonder why you don't feed it through the frame instead of the wheel?  A wheel is easy to take off and 4 guys could lift it into a truck and away they go.  Sure they probably wouldn't go through the trouble but...
