Ace Cafe SF: Gone, But Not Forgotten...And Not Really Gone!

You might've heard:
Ace Cafe San Francisco
has lost its lease and had to shut its doors. But that wasn't before one last bare bones MotoGP showing today:
A great turnout of the people who've made Ace such an awesome spot for 4 years:
I'm really sad about this...We've lost MotoJava Cafe, Zeitgeist has turned into a hipster bar, and now this. But fear not, there's good news: Rob will be doing MotoGP showings at the
SFMC Clubhouse
! Sunday, 15 May at 3PM and 6PM Rob will be serving drinks and showing LeMans!
And Rob's identified several potential new locations for Ace in the area! To keep up with the latest, visit
http://www.acecafesf.com/
and ask to be put on the mailing list!

I wonder if this has got anything to do with the lease problems?

Fortunately, no. It was more of a landlord problem.

I doubt it. Peter (ironic name for a porn guy) has wanted to own/transform Ace Cafe for years.

I'm sad I have nowhere to go to see WSBK this Sunday.
I guess my Mother In-Law will be happy, I'll have no reason to run off after Mother's Day brunch...

The D store will show it. And there's racing at Infineon so you have two excuses to piss off the mother in law!
