Stick with the stock F4. You'll be fine. Really.
Who are you? And what did you do with my friend Rick?

useless?! who cares?! have you ever ridden an F4? make the beast with two backsing amazing machine. a bit heavy but the weight gives it more of a feel of solidity than of general heavyness (if that makes sense).
Never said the F4 wsn't a good bike. What I meant was the increase in HP for the new model is useless...it already had a ton. A little more doesn't make a difference. Hardly anyone can take advantage of it all anyway...especially on the street.

What you should really get is an 1198SP. Or a slightly used, but highly modified, and way cool, 848. ![Evil](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/evil.gif)

I talked to you about the 848 already. It's really all the bike I would need out here, but... I won't buy another new Ducati without an alloy tank, so I guess the SP would still be on the table. But at that price? I'd rather have the MV. Trade you a Super Duke for it. ![Grin](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/grin.gif)

I like everything but the cyclops headlight. Big single headlights (monster) look good... single projectors do not look good... to me.

Absolutely gorgeous. The headlight is perfect. But then I'm a 999 fan also. The only other bikes that even come close are some Bimoto's and the Ducati.

But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
