On my first monster, did the CW tail chop - great quality and the biked looked fantastic. On my newest monster, actually looking for something that won't require cutting the frame this time around. Has anyone tried any of these plate relocators? If so any reviews, can anyone comment if/which of these don't require any cutting?

Tail Tidy/No Chop License Plate Relocator | Ducati Monster Tail Chop
Ducati Monster License Plate Relocator

Key requirements for me are

1. no cutting frame (duh!)
2. allows me to retain stock signals
3. sturdy construction

Both will allow you to keep the stock beer tray and they work without any frame mods - they only get rid of the separate large plastic plate holder and position the plate higher.

I simply cut the existing plate holder:

I used the Ducati Monster Tail Chop kit, not the relocator.  What I saw about their quality was that it's great.  Got what I wanted and quickly too.  Looks like a lot of different companies put out similar products, you just want to find a good one.  It seems like you found a look you are after, so I can recommend the quality of MonsterTailChop's stuff.

If you have even a touch of fabrication skills it's not difficult to build one up.  I used a piece of flat steel that I bent and drilled holes through.  Half hour, tops.  It's kinda hard to see in this pic but it's tucked back right above the front of the tire.  I used the mounting bolts for the mudguard under the seat.

I also made my own, and retained the beer tray.  I have gone to the chop since then (because the beer tray broke at the light mounting tabs).

Are you kidding?  You have no idea how much effort it took to get him to sit that still long enough for a photo.

Ooo look, a piece of grass.
Bark!  Neighbors.
Throw this, would ya?
