I love all the controversy. When i did my 'hyper devil i got the same. 
'I love to build things different I love my ducati's I guess you guys wont like my ST4 with a champion sidecar.
I thank you all for your comments good or bad that's what makes these fourms intersting,

I'm Ricky from racecitypowersports in Mooresville NC Our latest project is a rigid bobber with a v twin from a Ducati 900.

I can appreciate different projects but a few things that from my perspective: 
1. L-Twin (sure, a variation of a V-Twin, but quite distinct in layout).
2. Rigid. I would much rather ride a 'softtail' if the motor put out any power - but see #3
3. Ducati Power.  It certainly won't be overwhelming (though not far from the average 'v-twin' mills claims I read about).  The whole package will look better and perform significantly better if you stick short manifolds and split-single keihin carbs on that thing. I mean GOBS better looks and go-fast.
4. Braking - if you want to really pull off a cool bobber / minimalist look, ditch the conventional rear rotor and rear sprocket, and pick up a combined rear rotor/sprocket setup from ISR:

Hey do you have experience with shortened manifolds(how short) and Keihin carbs I would like to learn more about that. As for performance  this bike moves out  Not much weight and plenty of torque but tricky to tune. tell me more about this  carb and manifold  mod Please!!!

I ordered a set of short manifolds from Jako Motorsports in Germany awhile ago to fit Keihin FCR 41 split-singles awhile back.  But they have been sitting on the shelf for awhile with other projects taking priority here and there.  Many people use Mallossi short manifolds iirc, but I don't remember which number.   I'm sure the likes of Ferracci, DucPond, Nash @ AMS, or the rest will know.  Its quite popular with the track-oriented 900SS crowd.  Downside I have been told is more tedious sync'ing the carbs requirements, lack of airbox also means things mounted to airbox need someplace to go, etc.   The Keihin 'kit' (doesn't include the necessary short manifolds) is 016-747, MSRP of $1000+, and can be had from board sponsor CA-Cycleworks: http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/fcr-split-singles
