235 pages of posts..all good too!  Always signed his name with a smile.  What a great guy!  He made me look at Ohio in a different light by posting some beautiful pics of his rides during the fall months and the autumn leaves.  Never knew there were so many scenic rides in that state.

I always enjoyed his posts and could feel a little bit of similarity with his love of solo rural riding.  We are diminished by his passing.  I will miss seeing his avatar in the threads.

It's still there. Always will be. waytogo I'll never look at a version of that helmet or that Bimmer again in the same way.

RIP dolph.  Cry

I dont know anyone close to me who has ever passed and then it hit me. I've seen his post on this forum since i joined and with the time spent here, you get a sense of everyone who posts here frequently. And then it hit me so suddenly that this forum is such a close community that I felt like a good friend of mine has just passed even though I never met the guy or had a direct conversion with him.

Regardless I hope you all feel the same way. Dolph was a super cool guy and I always admire his passion to ride even though the dude was on 90 different types of pain meds!

drink Heres to you Dolph. Luckly, you didnt have to see the world end in 35 minutes. laughingdp   I hope everything is well for you now. And i hope motorcycles in the afterlife go 11ty billion miles an hour! CHEERS

Couldn't have said it better! waytogo Exactly how I feel and what I want to say. applause Never met him or ever talked with him in person or by phone but he was a friend. Maybe a weird internet thing but in the "old days" he would have been a pen pal. Just like the rest of you. We are a community of like minded folks, some different and some the same. But he was family and will be sorely missed. Whether you liked him or not, agreed with him or not, he was one of us and as passionate about riding as you could ever get. It's strange to say I will miss someone that I never actually met but I will. [moto]

i don't want Dolph to rest in peace. I hope he's somewhere going way too make the beast with two backsing fast, with no apologies. From what little I learned of him here, resting wasn't his style.

Like lots of others, I have trouble expressing the sense of loss for someone I didn't ever get to meet, but felt I knew in some way, on some level.  I feel personal loss for never getting to meet him in person - surely this is something I need to change in my relationship with these text-creating avatars with whom I have wasted/enjoyed so many hours in the past few years...

Here's what I know about Dolph:  he was never afraid to speak his mind, and for the most part, I really enjoyed the contents thereof.  He had good ideas about how life should be lived -exuberantly, knowing you can't take it with you.  He surely was not squeezed from a tube.  If his brother and loved ones can't take solace in that, I hope they can take pride.  Godspeed my friend.
