This is a great combo!

I installed the G2 about a year ago.  Nice smooth action, and super easy to crack open the throttle and roll on the throttle in a turn.

At first Electraeon was unsure about the M695 application, but I provided all the critical dimensions of the OE unit and they determined that their Type 2 is suitable.  I've had it for a while, but just installed it today.

I was a little worried that things might be too sensitive, but in practice it turns out to be a good combo.  The "modestly" powered M695 spends a lot of time at large throttle openings, so getting there with less twist is a good thing.  The G2 tube provides very smooth, friction free action and non-linear opening.  The Electraeon throttlebody cam makes things happen more abruptly with less twist.  It's a good pairing and it works very well for my application.  The two products complement each other.  G2 says they can't accomplish the same thing with their cam due to lack of room in the housing.

** edit - Just noticed Electraeon now has a Type 3 available, so be sure to verify compatibility.

Just to offer a different opinion:

I have a similar set up (Electraeon & quick turn throttle) and for my tastes it's a bit too much for in city riding.

Outside town it's great, but my other bike makes 50HP and I think it spoils me a bit in terms of keeping me safe from poor impulse control.

Electraeon + a quick turn throttle?  That's like 2x quickness!  The G2 is a full-turn throttle tube with non-linear opening.

But yeah, I fully agree that different bikes/riders/styles will respond differently.  I don't do much city riding, but getting back and forth to the twisties was quite enjoyable.

I installed the elctraeon on my 696 about 2 months ago and love it. It improved the angle that I hold my wrist at speed, much more comfortable which was the whole reason I ordered it. Less twist for acceleration is always fun too.
