I've got these neato carbon faced gauges with tach, and plugs in using the older canon plug style. They're in KM/h btw, if that helps, any idea what they are? I looked at the DP gauges for various years, but no go, I assume this is a euro gauge of some sort?

If the tach is electronic they probably came off a Euro or Canadian mid-90s vintage carby monster.

If the tach is cable driven they're off an SS of approximately the same vintage or a bit earlier.

Tach plugs into the ignition boxes.

Sweet! something else that's a bit different about the bike. Time to refinish the faceplate!

The 900 fixer-upper I picked up had those same gauges!  Not DP, not sure of manufacturer of bezel/receptacle.

CEV, fairly common on Italian bikes.

german company, name escapes me now.  they made complete cf kits for ducatis in the 90s

They are Road Racing gauges.... I had a tach from them that the cover broke on, impossible to find a replacement.  Mine had both the "Road Racing" and the "CEV" on it, I guess yours just has the CEV.

Not sure if Road Racing sold them, but they are listed in the DP catalogue.  The tachometer is part 96500699C .  I am looking at a photo of it right now "Contagiri elettronico analogico"

and yes, I do have old gia.ca.moto and dp catalogues lying around

hmm... my carbon DP speedo/tach housing looks nothing like that.    I didn't think it was a DP part (why make two?), and I'm pretty sure its not from roadracing (as a roadracing original product) as far as I know, which sold the aluminum gauge/cluster and had different 'idiot lights'.   Kind of like how there was the carbon gauge cluster manufactured by RCV Special Parts in Torino that was on the Motowheels M944 project bike.

Here's what my DP looks like:




The catalog from "back then" that I have shows that one, and the LED one that is very similar to the stock cluster orientation, and then there's the Octopod setup I have seen before (and the billet gauge face plate that has no tach that was a DP / DPM part)

talking about the tach not the mount.  i am pretty sure hte mount is a german make.

Tach DP.
RoadRacing sold the same, added their name on face,  billet gauge panel w idiots & plastic housing.

Right - I got mine as a left over after they were discontinued from Jeff at MonsterParts.  The one that came on the other 900 looks identical to the one the OP posted. here's a shot of it:
