Duck season, Rabbit season.

Your Duc and something that goes by the common name for a lagamorph.

Well, you don't see many Volkswagen Rabbits anymore and although I do see rabbits in my yard occasionally the idea of getting a picture of one, let alone getting a picture of one with my bike, seems impossible.  So, here you go!!!

Next up... your bike with an American flag... or with fireworks!

That set of curves looks mighty familiar; is that just outside of Nellysford, VA by any chance? The climb to Brent's Gap is the one I'm thinking of...

Nope--Tail of the Dragon.  But the area around Nellysford looks like some good riding--at least on the map.  Any suggestions as I live in Yorktown and it would be reachable for a (long) day trip.

Ah, Nellysford -- my bike racing team used to do spring training camps down there (well, they still do but I've since moved to Arizona), so I have a love/hate recollection of a lot of the steep, twisty climbs around there. A great base of operations would be The Acorn Inn there http://www.acorninn.com/ -- tell Martin & Kathy that Brad DeVries sent you. For moto roads, our big-loop training course would be good: the previously mentioned Brent's Gap would be a good start; up and over it on 151 I remember as twisty on both sides (and looked a lot like your Deals photo, which isn't a bad thing!), country roads that hook up to the west with the Blue Ridge Parkway, then north on the BRP to Reed's Gap, and a crazy, twisty descent down to the valley floor. Lots of other cool back roads to the East of the Acorn Inn as well. I'll see if I can get some of my friends to send me the route maps from spring training as ideas.

end threadjack; we now return you to your regularly scheduled scavenger hunt.

Below are pictures of my Monster in front of a fountain, 1 for Iz and 1 for the rest of us.

Next up, picture of your Ducati with a clean, renewable energy generator (solar panels, windmill, etc) in the background.

Local mountain road, that windmill powers a private residence.

Next challenge:  Your bike with some industrial ruins/abandonments WITH graffiti.

The areas where I live that have abandoned buildings with graffiti are the same areas where I don't make a full stop at the stopsigns, much less get off and start snappin pics.
