out of interest will a pantah clutch cover fit i baby monster?
Nope. The clutch slave on the Pantah clutch cover is actually on the right side... Yours is on the left and uses a push-rod running through the transmission input shaft.

The old M600 and original M750 (pre1998???) have the pantah style engine with the old style clutch slave and wet clutch. there is
no reason
to swap it with a pantah though, UNLESS you wanted to upgrade to a dry clutch (which was a
standard setup
on the alazzurra and paso 750). afaik, the crank shaft is the same size/spec and the engine case will take the pantah clutch cover no problem.
monster with right hand side clutch slave: (pantah style engine)
pantah dry clutch cover vented:
this mod will ONLY work on monsters that have a RIGHT HAND SIDE clutch slave as in the photo above

I had a feeling it would be pricey! I mentioned a dry clutch conversion to someone before and they said to just buy an M900 and avoid the hassle/cost involved.

pick up the side cover, the clutch parts and the cover and bob's your uncle.. either an alazzurra 650 or a paso 750
i'd put it at about 400-600 to find good pieces...

BTW, they only fit the small cased motors (600,620,695,750 & 800)
not necessarily.
i saw a fellow who basically angle cut the belt the cover (actually it was like an "S" curve, he did it with a scroll saw) and bolt the front half up, and the back half up, leaving an open "space" in between. it looked really slick. I will say however that i'm unsure if it was a larger case motor, or if he just routed out a slot and bolted them to a smaller motor anyway...
looked cool though.
this post is useless...
