Everyone else has been nice, I'll be honest. That looks like a bag of dicks. If you dig it then my opinion is entirely irrelevant and I fully support your lunacy, but somebody had to say it.

Only thing that could make that look good would be some fabric and cargo netting over the tank and Mad Max the living piss out of that thing.

 [wine]  Funny to see all the replies.  I finally got around to putting the covers back on.  It does look better with it on than off.  I think I will eventually go w/ the all black w/ red frame or all white w/ red frame look.

Your title is misleading.  That does not make your bike look more naked.  If you want to make it look more naked, drop the radiator cover and all that plastic under the frame.  That is one thing that will make it look more naked.  Removing the cover off of your tank only makes your tank look stupid.

What about them off appealed to you to begin with? Maybe take that and integrate it into the bike in another way?
