My 848 is bleeding oil and maybe coolant
«

Well I was going to go ride today, but luckily one of my buddies wanted to stop off at his place before we took off into the middle of nowhere. When I pulled up to his place I found that my rear tire/swing arm/ lower fairing was covered in oil and we got a nice pool of what looks like oil and coolant mixed together under the bike. Anyway we locked it up at his place until I can get it to AMS next week.
Does AMS offer to pick up bikes or will I need to arrange to get it there on my own? Neither of my Ducs have had problems until this, so I haven't had to take it up there without its own power. Other than that, is anyone willing to lend a trailer or bike transportation in return for beer/lunch?
Not having two wheels is depressing.

Oh noooooo!
Yes, I think they'll do that.
I'm not sure if they themselves regularly haul, roadside service, or whatever,
but give them a call tomorrow -These things happen all the time.
I'm sure they have a workable solution.

If arrangements through AMS don't work, we've got a truck and trailer.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll give AMS a call in the morning and see what can be done about it. I'm just hoping it turns out to be something easy and my bike isn't gone for the next month.

If you've put any de-worming medicine in the gas tank it may be normal for a couple of days...

Forgot to update. I got the bike back maybe a week ago or so? The culprit was leaking oil lines. Jeff said he had never seen that happen on the newer bikes, so I guess its just a freak occurance. They replaced the lines and she's back in order.
