In Europe some countries have a 100HP limitation for bikes; some legal, some are just fiscal friendly that way.

Does anyone know how this limitation is done on Ducatis; more specifically the 848? Is it a setting in the ECU or a mechanical change; and how easy/hard it would be to undo the limitation?

Are you even sure yours is subject to any explicit limitation?

Well, I don't have one yet. I'm currently looking into buying one second hand, and some of them are limited.
