999 forks lower caliper arms are bent don't ask me how.  Searching for new 999 forks if these can't be tweaked to work.  bang head

Take a look at the light between the filter and the lift's plate Ted.

Until we got the forks on there a little bit later, the jack was the only life line.  I know not recommended  boo.  She's currently resting with the triples installed, forks and front wheel.  They're trying to see if they can fix the bend or whether I need to order Showa fork lowers.

No, that's from the Rizoma LED oil filter cap.

This has completely morphed from a simple rear rim discussion to a build at this point.  Changed the title to Feankenmonster....

Finally got everything sorted out with the bike.

Unfortunately, it turns out the 999 forks I got originally were bent and unusable.  Anyways, the bike has come together nicely.

Here are the adjustments to what was a pretty much stock S2R800.

From front to back, the 5 spoke front rim was replaced by one from a 999 along with 999 forks and a complete Speedymoto SBK triple.  New Woodcraft clipons. The stock hand controls were replaced with ones from an 848 with Rizoma reservoirs.  I got rid of the PCIII and went with the Dobeck TFI and a reflashed ECU from Houston Superbikes.  Speedymoto belt covers and sliders were installed.  Stock rear sets were dumped for Gilles tools  bacon and the stock rear shock was upped to a Penske rear shock.  Wave rotor replaced the stock one and at the rear 5 spoke was swapped for an 848.

Definitely a different ride than what I am used to.  The 999 forks with SBK triples changes the way it handles dramatically.  Still need to tweak a couple of things like the clip-ons and get the forks dialed in with the rear shock accurately.

otherwise just ride the piss out of her and stay away from cagers.

I told you the forks were bent. Lips Sealed

Steel rod wrapped in cut up bicycle tube rubber passing thru frame just above airbox & behind head tube, suspended on stand made from 2x4s held together with drywall screws & plywood. Best front end workstand there is. Super stable and won't hurt a damned thing.

I would never ever jack a bike up under the cylinder head or exhaust. You got away with it this time.

Take a ladder span it over your bike and hang it from tiedowns. Much safer IMO and trellis frame makes this even easier.

20/20, Finding some issues with those woodcraft clip-on brackets tapping on the frame when you move them in close enough to be comfortable?
I know i did with my setup, which looks identical to yours. Maybe those IMA trips are making a difference for you...

I did have some issues with the Woodcrafts because of their downward slant, however, I was able to get them to work.  The ergo's will take some time for me to get used to.  The Speedymoto SBK triple helps....

Gonna get the 999 forks and rear shock tuned this weekend as the front-end is a little stiff....
