I really need to stop tinkering with this make the beast with two backsin bike and just flog the shit out of it when the weather is nice outside.

Installed the Arrow exhaust i purchased for a steal off flea bay.  OMG it sounds sweet.  Has such a nice low bass thump to it at idle and it just howls at speed.  Much louder than I ever expected but love it.  Had a nice grin during my trip around the city.

I could have it ceramic coated black but for some reason I think that will it looks is perfectly AOK.  I thought i was going to miss the open rear wheel look with the quat but I don't.

This bike shouldn't need anything else except to be ridden.

They're not Ohlins but took her out for a ride yesterday after her racetech springs were installed.  What a difference it makes when you have the right springs.  OMG!!! Tracking felt a lot better.

Amen.   At least now the valves can do what they are supposed to do!   (have you had someone help you measure and set f/r sag?  there are about 11ty billion videos of doing it on youtubes)

Also, I remember thinking the quat-d exbox was quieter than expected too.   Not bad, but was not near as loud as the DP reverse megs I had afterwards

Yup JV.  Has the shop that installed them help me set it all up.  Bike feels way different.

Now, if only winter could pass quickly so warmer weather can return and riding can commence again  Dolph

I'm officially a fan of the black/acid yellow paint scheme waytogo

Not 100% sure about the gold, but it's not a big deal IMO.

What happened to the über-cool gas cap? It's lower at the rear - missing/wrong spacers?

Thx Stop and Lars D.

Yup Stop - wrong washer!  I keep going back and forth about the gold.  Part of me wants to keep it the other part of me wants to have those pieces hard anno'd black.  We shall see.  Still have some time before the season starts and MotoGP in Aug.  waytogo

Waiting on the CF monopost seat I bought from a member to arrive from Italy.

Your bike looks great. The gold anodized pieces do clash with the yellow however.

With the nice weather comes the opportunity to do some more minor work on Frankenmonster.

With the help of Monsterparts, I got a nice set of Galfer front wave rotors.  With the new rotors and pads, braking should improve.  I've also got to figure out what to do with the carbon fiber monopost seat I purchased from a member.  It fits like shit.  Need to use my existing seat to make a fiberglass mold and incorporate the new CF pieces I got for the perfect fit.  Should take less than a month from start to finish.

For now, riding the shit out of her as the weather is DC will be nice for the next 72 hours.   Dolph

Anyone know what colors the S2R 800's came in other than

Black Frame
   - Acid Yellow with Black Stripe
   - Tangerine with Black Stripe
   - Black with Tangerine Stripe
   - Matte Black

Red Frame
   - Red with White Stripe

Reason I ask is I'm trying to determine the next color scheme......I love my matte black acid yellow stripe look and the acid yellow gunmetal tank scheme.  For some reason I feel like an all black frame with black accents, levers, reservoirs with a Ducati white tank with carbon stripe would look money.  Too bad the configuration can't do this scheme.  Anyone seen a pure white not arctic white S2R Monster?
