What's up with the eye roll?  You've never done anything stupid before in you life?  Or you never ask for help to resolve said stupid thing?

If you had to lose a key, this has to be one of the best ways. This will give you something to laugh about a year from now.

The last time I 'lost' a bike key I ended up having to cut out the ignition, and pry the cas cap off and buy replacements. A month after I got the replacements, I found the 'lost' key.   laughingdp

Good luck getting the key replaced.  chug

I sent my lonely one black key off to SOS Diagnostics in Oregon and they were great to work with.  You'll be key/bikeless for a week or two (I did mine over winter to avoid such heartbreak) but it was like $40 bucks and works great.  You won't have the pretty "D" on the key anymore, but.......

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
