So I guess this means you have also secured all intellectual property from Abranda as well such as CNC files and all design work, yes? Do you yourself have the talent to engineer new products(as well as the means of production), and will you now be among the new SBOs saving the 'conomy? Guess the next item on your list is to secure operational capital. Got my fingers crossed.

You said you had a grand pile of CC parts - my question would be why is there a grand pile of CC parts when everybody in the world wants to buy them. Why are they not all sold? When you got people on eBay selling damaged CC clipons for more than they sold for when they were new, that says something. I've had an email exchange from Alfred (engineer, or mgmt?) and he seemed like a very nice yet frustrated man. Got to be an interesting backstory there somewhere.

This is cool beans. I'm excited for you. The CC top triple/above triple mount clipon combo was awesome. I'm hoping CC comes back with no compromises.

Yes, intellectual property, cad files cad cam programs, machinist notes, fixtures, domain, all remaining product, displays and a whole lot more. I attended Columbus College of Art and Design for Industrial Design after leaving the 101st Airborne Division however I have the help of a few mechanical engineers as well.
Alfred is a great man and a really good friend. This would not have been possible without him and I owe him a great deal of thanks.
Capital would be great!
Yes we are one of the small businesses who plan to save the economy and why I will not outsource outside the United States. Cycle Cat will still be proudly made in the USA by Americans!

Thanks for the kind words.

New-gen monster parts a possibility?

696/796/1100?

Or no.

It looks like this will be fairly easy to accomplish with minor modifications to existing designs which means that these rearsets should be the first new products to launch. Bar systems are certain.

How soon till your building stuff again?

I am shopping machine shops now and am planning to start building  almost immediately. While I would like to just go out and buy machines and start producing the product in house again it is just not in the cards at this point. It is the long term plan because we will be able to do smaller production runs and more of them which allows for a larger product range and the ability to catch up inventory quickly as things sell. Cycle Cat did outsource some parts while we were in production and the quality was outstanding so I do not see any quality issues with this plan.

Ive always loved CC products. When will we see a web site? When will we be able to order?

The website is being developed by Will who is the DesmOhio website creator. Will has been doing fantastic work for the club since we started it in 2003. We have a new splash page up now with contact info and our twitter info which is @cycle_cat if you want to follow there.

Some products will be available as soon as I can inventory everything and really figure what we have. It is a lot and I am waiting on an organizing system to get started. It should be here any day now.

Yes. The UCS1 will be back in production eventually. chug Funny, the Gran canyon was one of the bikes we tested the stand with while we were designing it.

i do dearly love my USC1 rearstand.   Cannot say the same thing about the CC front stand, which is useless if front axle sliders are installed.

You should PM Monsterlover on this board. I believe he was starting his own machine shop and last I saw on his thread he was getting his goodies together! waytogo

Chris first off congrats man!  I know you have wanted this for a very long time.   chug

Second, for any one that might be skeptical, if you don't know Chris, he is a very dedicated person.  He will make it happen.  I know Chris, I am part of Desmohio, and trust me when I say, he has wanted Cycle Cat back for as long as I have known him.
If he says something will be done, he will with every part of his being try to make it happen.

I am so happy to see Cycle Cat back, now just have to find that money tree I have been searching for.   Grin

With that said....any club discounts???  hehehe
