Dear rest of the US,

Please keep Dan as long as you'd like. Thanks,

California

Awwwww, he's not *that* bad.  The adventure stories alone are worth having him stop by California in between Asia, rest-of-US, South America?, Asia...

People like him are how STD's got spread in the first place. Sort of like fleas on rats and the plague, but harder to exterminate.

I thought the same of you initially.

Then I met your wife. Kiss

.... Blue Ridge Parkway just about 20 minutes away.

A rough target date or a couple-day heads up is a good idea if you're coming through.

JM

Just saw about this on Top Gear and added to my list of roads. The second time topgear has influenced my travels. Ill give as much advanced notice as possible waytogo
There will always be a clean bed.....a warm garage and cold beer here for you.

Sounds good DTM, I may be biased, but the southern section of the BRP is the best.

We might have a couch open depending on when you arrive in Colorado Springs assuming your coming here, who wouldn't (we should ride Pikes Peak). Hit me up then.

If you aren't too set in your planned route, I have a suggestion. When you hit Detroit, cross the border and ride the north shore of lake erie and cross back over at Niagara falls. If  you do, I have a small cottage on the north shore of the lake in a little fishing town called 'Port Dover'. You would be more than welcome to crash out there for a few days. There's a couple of great taverns.
