As I lose more and more hair over the years I keep thinking about just shaving my head. I think thin, wispy helmet hair is probably the WORST kind of helmet hair and I want to avoid it before mine gets there!

In my experience, a shaved head under a helmet is quite nice, particularly in the summer with all the vents open. Two or three days of stubble, not so much.

DNA might not have paid a thing.   Think about it. Progressive would market towards Ducati, Harley & BMW because those folks statistically don't crash their bikes as much as the folks who ride Japanese superbikes, for instance. Plus their bikes may not be stolen as much either. Fewer claims equals more dollars for Progressive.

Plus the ad is selling insurance and not motorcycles. Product placement in movies or TV shows is another thing though.

I figured as much, wondering how much they paid was sort of rhetorical.

I only see this commercial during MotoGP broadcasts, but I was surprised by it too. It's good marketing. Progressive is one of the largest employers in this area and I'm glad to see them doing so well. Their founder is an alum of the high school where I work. I really like the guy.

I think it's run during any type of motorcycle racing broadcast. I see it on WSBK and the AMA road racing shows. Don't know if it runs during moto-x.

I can't stand that chick in their commercials.

If they offered me free insurance I'd probably turn it down just because of her.

This commercial on the other hand.  I laughed my ass off.   Grin
