I've been (fruitlessly so far) looking for a replacement footpeg for a Cycle Cat rearset.

Anyone know of a different brand peg that will fit, or that can be made to fit with some lathe work?  Or am I just going to have to beg a co-worker to help me build some replacements from scratch?

Not sure, but it looks like the HINGED part on these oberons could POSSIBLY come off.

http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Ducati_S2R.html

If they DON'T come off, couldn't you just grind off the hinged area, and tap the peg?

Or you could just try these, which look to be nearly exactly what you need:

I've got two sets of CC pegs one black and one silver. They are longer than the stock CC pegs, if you are interested shoot me a PM.

Rizoma and MFW-Wolf has some that are retractable/hinged - I don't know if they will fit, but they look like they might.

There is definitely a hole in the market now. For those of us racing with their products, we have no solutions to replacing crashed parts. I'm now all out of replacement pegs. I have a pile of ground down pegs from crashing.
I had a bunch of replacement frame sliders turned on a lathe and I'm now using those but if I break the coupling nuts, I'm out of luck so I think I'm going to get some of those made too.

My plan is to make it through this race season on my CC stuff then look for alternatives. I'm thinking about buying cheaper Woodcraft or Vortex rearsets then making my own adapter plate. Then spares will be cheap and plentiful.

I have taken the pegs from my rearsets and had a machine shop reproduce some spares from billet. Cheap insurance, $40 ea., just in case.

Group buy?  I'd buy several, maybe up to a half dozen, if they were of about the same quality as the CC originals.
