Not to worry.  He's a Tech 3 rider.  He just needs a bottle of whiskey, a steak and a BJ and he'll be good to race by Tuesday.   waytogo

which one was that?

A paddock rumor (trying to recall where I saw it) that he gave them until Mugello to sort the bike and make it competitive. He's under contract, so it's hard to see how he could do anything but make empty threats. But still...

On another note, Stoner's showing his douchebag side again:
http://moto-racing.speedtv.com/article/motogp-stoner-questions-haydens-effort/

Quote
Earlier on qualifying day in the final free practice session Stoner and Hayden came across each other on the track with Stoner making an angry hand signal to Hayden. Stoner later claimed that his former teammate Hayden had balked him unnecessarily as he was on a fast lap.

"I had to pick up and back off and get going again," Stoner said. "It is frustrating as hell. I could understand if he accidentally got in my way but that was blatantly on purpose and that frustrated me a fair bit coming from a rider like Nicky, who I had a fair bit of respect for, so it's disappointing."

But seriously though, Casey will look back and greatly regret that outburst against such a gentleman of the sport. The lad sure has a temper.

Like him or not Nicky is a good stand up kid who always takes responsibility for his performance and actions. He is not one to be throwing stones at. I'm not sure of the exact on track action Stoner is referring to but IF Nicky was at fault I'm sure he would be the first to man up and say he was wrong and apologize. Who on the grid doesn't like Hayden? Stoner should be careful, I know Vale likes Nicky a lot and he might just give Stoner a smack down for pissing and moaning about his new teammate. laughingdp Is it just me or does Stoner ever stop pissing and moaning? Track skills aside he's a whiner!

By the way, you could do a lot worse than having Nicky as a son in law! waytogo applause popcorn

Stoner is batshit fast...no denying it.

He's also the biggest douchebag I've seen since Mladin.

Casey didn't care if he crashed.  Rossi does.  That's really the difference between the two in my opinion and why Stoner took that bike to another level.... when he wasn't crashing it.  Casey's raw speed is the fastest of anyone anyway, outside of maybe a healthy Pedro.  His issues have never been speed.   Just consistancy and the bike.

therein lies the difference really you said it.  but it comes down to one thing.

YOUTH.  Stoner still has it and is stupid so he could ride it crazy, Rossi is a bit older and knows how much it hurts to crash a lot.

In this sport i think the fast guys don't "get slow" they lose their nerve as they get older.

yeah stoner at times does whine a bit but remember he is young and basically a gifted rider, so he will have to learn humility with time, it happens to us all.  remember he was a young champion and such so he is sort of a cry baby when things don't go his way perfectly.

but he is absolutely killing them when it comes to races,

It's going to be another wet race.

Maybe it will actually be fun to watch.

Maybe Stoner will get all the sand out of his vag

Great race effort by Edwards!! Can't believe he did that so soon after serious collarbone surgery. Again, just a tough SOB... and a talented one! waytogo Dolph

Sounded like the race was miserable! Cold and wet. Tongue bang head

Stoner lapped RdP and Barbera.

The Ben and Lorenzo both went down in the same lap.

Maybe some day Simo can finish a race.

I was nice to see Hayden running good laps and  applause to Edwards

Overall not a bad race

I believe I read where Nicky put in the fastest lap of the race (17th) when Bautista was chasing him!

Yes big  applause bow down chug to Edwards!
