Wow! Glad you are ok.  I rode the other day to my partners house(business)'because my car was getting fixed, w/just my helmet, gloves, and jacket. It was early in the morning and I was late, and tired. Besides feeling like a squid. I kept thinking to myself that this I when accidents happen. Good thing you had on all your gear. I know now I will wear it no matter what.
Here,s to a speedy recovery. If you need a good lawyer let me know.My GF is one but she knows some good personal injury ones. There was probably one following you to the hospital anyway. chug

Damn Beattie, glad to hear you're mostly ok.  Good thing you were wearing your gear.

<snip>You can never be too safe out there... if it wasn't for my gear, ide still be in the hospital. Always be prepared, you never know. this is my 3rd accident in the last year, the 1st and 2nd were my own fault...this time it was someone else. all 3 accidents were in full gear. </snip>

Well technically on that first one you were wearing jeans...  But thankfully you walked away unscathed on that one too.  Grin

Ride safe everyone.
