Breaks feeling "wooden"

I have stock break pads on my 900ss, is there a suggested upgrade for brake pads? They feel really wooden and don't seem to have a lot of bite.  Is this just how the Brembo's makes them feel?

I never cared for the stock pads.

I like DP (Dunlop Pads).

They make an HH and a racing version with really hard initial bite.

 got the Ferado's, they feel pretty good IMO

Can someone tell me the difference between the Ferado types?

   I so confuse...  They seem a bit pricey too.  Anyone have a link for the DP's?  eBay has a small selection.

Ferodo HH or Green Stuff should be sufficient. I use the HH, which many people think work better with cast iron.  kind of have to be willing to experiment.

also, try resurfacing your current brake pads.  an orbital palm sander with fine sandpaper works great.  don't forget the filtermask.

I like the Platinums, plenty of power and not grabby on an easy squeeze.

CP211 are more powerful.
