I test-monkeyed on my bike this past weekend when I was doing my oil change...These plugs are wayyyy stronger than the OEM drain plugs! I don't know if it is 1,435x stonger as claimed, but it was significantly stronger when I was testing it against a piece of metal. http://www.drainplugmagnets.com/

I know people stick some kind of super strong magnets on their oil filter. Forget the name right now. ![Huh?](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/huh.gif)

too strong of a drain plug magnet will throw off your engine's balancing.

And will bend the road so that you will always have to lean to the right. ![laughingdp](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/laughdmf.gif)

I guess if the magnet was SUPER strong, so much so that the crank and rods/pistons had to actually fight its force to travel up for the compression or exhaust stroke it might create an issue?... Other than that I can't see how it would effect balance? Unless it was such a super extreme mega magnet that it lowered the bikes COG...

A little off topic, but here I go... Once when I was at the National Rifle Championships at Camp Perry for 3-Position Smallbore, I had the opportunity to talk to one of the top end rifle builders/gunsmiths that sets up shop there. He told me a story about a guy that brought his rilfe in to have his barrel degaussed because he felt that if he were not aligned exactly with the earths magnetic field, it would throw off his followthrough and mess up his shot. The guy got a little huffy when his sanity was questioned.
We should probably just wrap everything in tinfoil!

Also it will make the Earth spin faster so your Capirex can hit 130 140.
There, fixed it. Have to strive for complete accuracy in all things here.
