I'm looking for a vintage winged Ducati decal. Not the eagle but the large wing outline that says Ducati in cursive inside. I've found one online but the backing inside of the wing behind the text is black vinyl and I've got a Matte Black Monster and I'm looking for a Decal of just the wing and word Ducati without the gloss black background backing. I've seen a couple bikes with this logo but am not sure if they were custom paint jobs or decals. I did order the decal thinking worst case I could take it to a Custom Bike Paint Shop near me and have them create a mask with it and just paint the logo on but I'd rather use a decal if I should want to go change it in the future. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

This is the Decal I'm referring to above. I'd like this without the black background so its just the silver wing and text on the Matte Black Tank.

There used to be a company in AU that sold these, but I can't find them in my bookmarks.

Duccutters maintain a library of vector art so you can have one made with the clear background:

As good a starting place as any for a decal maker...

Shoot me a PM if you need decals made, I have a number of folks on the forum that can offer a testimonial.

Don't put the Ducati wing on your tank.    Angry

Yep Jeff, that was the website I couldn't find. Mind you, I couldn't find the stickers on there, just the badges  Tongue

I like the Badge but it looks like a bolt-on so how would I adhere that to my Monster 620 Tank? It also looks a bit thick any opinions on how this would look on a Matte Black Monster 620 Dark? Should I go the Custom Decal route or the Badge? I also want to know why DarkStar says I shouldnt do it. Is there something I'm missing or is it just an opinion on the appearance.

You could use 3M double sided tape on the badges, we use it at work all the time, just remember to use the adhesion promoter on the badge.  I think it would look really nice on a dark tank.  That link in Darkstar's reply says the badges are six inches long! I didn't realize they were that big.

Also, my guess is that Darkstar doesn't want you to put them on your tank because he already  has them on his
