I can't really see anything wrong with making everybody get together before or after a race session and letting them hash out their differences without the press ready to spill it to the public.

Pretty much everybody is more sensible when they're not on TV...

I vote for Colin as group mediator.  He'd bring a bottle of whiskey (or two) and some boxing gloves and just get all the schlock between the riders worked out.
