Well I'm all booked for the Turismo.  So is anyone riding through Vic to SA?  I'm looking at riding over on the Saturday (18Oct)  but will be on days off 2 days prior so I could even be talked into doing the GOR both ways whilst waiting for others to turn up. (I live at the western end)

does anyone know the daily routes - it's just that the start and finish towns are fairly close to one another - how long are the days meant to be?

I mean Clare to renmark is 250k max!

Thank you in advance

Yeah and Glenelg to Tanunda is only 80km on the main roads.  Won't have any fuel worries there  laughingdp. Must be a lot of vineyards to stop at inbetween. Maybe there's a comp to see how many laps ya can do?

Those who have booked a spot on the fantastic Dockstrada trailer can we make a plan to meet soon.
Just to nut out a few details early in the piece.
Things like accomm and plans on luggage etc...

So R_usty, Andy, Vince, myself and anyone else who is thinking about going let's have a planning meeting in the next week or two.

cheers

Hi Guys,

I am back from OS and ready to chat about this fun trip.

I will be at the Superbike school on Monday 28th and will (hopefully) catch up with Vince and any other DMF'ers there - may even get a chance to chat about the Turismo there!

Ciao,

R_usty

Cool, I'll be there R_usty.
Doing the anti rain dance over the weekend.

We'll find some time to have a chat about Tourismo plans.

I'm in!

I'll be coming over from Tassie and riding all the way and back. I'll be travelling with two other guys, one on a 900SS FE and another guy on a 900SS Superlite. We'll catch the Spirit of Tas ferry on the Thursday night and head over by the GOR. Not sure about coming back yet.

I've never been to a Turismo so it should be a good one!  Grin

Vince I am intending to ride home from the Turismo. I have a brother in Melbourne so i'm going to spend a few days getting home via the coast. I will discuss it with you on saturday.

Guys I'm out,

Due to my injuries that I sustained I had to burn up all of my annual leave, so now I have no time to do the Turismo unless a miricle happens, you guys will love it.

Mmick,

that's a shame, hope you get well again soon.
You know we'll enjoy it and it will be well documented as I'm going.

Yeah, thanks Matty,

If only I could find some more leave, I'd be there.

If anyone is still thinking about going but is not quite sure, do yourself a favour, do it.
