I just talked to one my local dealer about installing rizoma bar risers, and they said they cannot do it on stock bars, So now If I want bar risers I have to get Rizoma bars too . Apparently Rizoma bars do not come drilled so its about two hours in labour. With the bar riser and new bar installed they quoted me around $400 .

Looking around to see if any one had experience with rizoma bar risers, or any other risers they would recommend that would go with the stock bars .

thanks

I assume these are designed for stock bars.

get the 796 spacers.  they fit right into the 696 and are really cheap too.  ask your dealer about them... a thread listed the part numbers before, but i cant recall it.  might want to do a search for them.

I have the Rizoma risers and bar and they are very nice. They're certainly not the cheapest option out there, but they are the best looking.

The 796 risers will be a direct swap and they are like $70. I plan to buy the 796 riser probably this weekend.

The Rizoma bar raiser and Rizoma handlebar just cost $ 280 USD. only. Not worth to $400.

796 riser alone won't do. You'll need the 796 handlebar, too.

You'll need the 796/1100 tapered handlebar too. The 696 has a standard, single diameter bar.

you can get the bars & risers for about $210.00 from pj's http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=264
The install is pretty simple it took me about an 1.5 hrs The Rizoma stuff is pricey but it's quality stuff. The bars have a different bend the the stock and with the 60mm riser it really improves the up right riding position
