No Monster of my own, but my wife has an '09 696

I just had a mysterious box from Milan appear on my doorstep. It contained a small bottle of Ducati cologne and a letter about recalls on my Multistrada.

It's an attractive little bottle of brushed metal and glass. They missed the opportunity to use some of the classic Ducati shapes in the bottle. When viewed from above it's a semicircle and arc shape, where I think it could just as easily echo the current shield logo. The juice is pale blue and is a "marine" type scent with some citrus notes. Think Davidoff's Cool Water meets Lemon Pledge. Reasonably pleasant, but I can't see any way in which it evokes Ducati or even motorcycles in general. It's probably good at covering up sweat and motor oil. Nice for a freebie.

dump it in your helmet when the liner starts smelling really ratty

and with any luck your hair won't fall out

whatever you do don't pour it in your plastic gas tank

I think that might actually be a pretty good use for the stuff.

and with any luck your hair won't fall out

Too late...

I would actually prefer something like that sweet smell of fresh Agip motor oil

wafting up from the motor

when its heating up for the first time after an oil change

I always thought race fuel would make a great cologne.

My girl loves the way I smell after working in the garage.

Me, I just want a shower to wash the olifactory reminder of my freshly busted knuckles off of me.
