I am considering ordering a H Comp exhaust for my new to me 796 ABS I just got. I am wondering how loud is the Rodan Box one. I will be riding with a passenger sometimes and will have bluetooth audio installed in both helmets so we can talk whenever. I just don't want the exhaust to over power the sound in my or my GF's helmets. Any insight would be great!!!

Are they just as loud or louder then quiet boomtubes (baffled). Not sure what to think of the video clips. I know not all recording devices are of equal quality. Also there are a few that are in a garage type structure and walls cause sound to echo. Do you have a Rodan Box installed on your bike if so is the sound too much at highway speeds?

Well I have heard the Rodan box in person and at speed- it is very loud, for anything more than short rides I would say earplugs/earbuds need to be worn.
It is easy to slip a $10 baffle in the pipe which still retains the same growl, but tames it enough to not be overwhelming.
Don't mistake me saying it is loud for not liking it- it sounds amazing and looks just as good!

curtis: I have just over 1 year of FHE with the Rodan box exhaust. At highway speeds the exhaust is not that loud, so you might be able to communicate via bluetooth no problem. As 2-Skinny points out, you could also create a homebrewed baffle if it was too loud; I believe DoWorkSon has done this for his.
If you decide to go this route, pay special attention to the cable routing for your rear signals. I have the CW fender eliminator and just discovered the insulation on the wiring for the rear blinkers has been melted, presumably by the exhaust. I am waiting for the motodynamics integrated tail light to come off of back order in August to rectify this issue.

I PM'ed DoWorkSon and he told me what he did to install the baffle and it seems super easy. So I will go that route.

We want pictures and sound clips. I wish I had that too...LOL.... when I get back in the states I want to make a audio clip and see how it turns out. I was wondering which is better not in looks but function Titanium or Ceramic coat. Also will the Titanium change color after it heats up and cools down enough? A even better question can you drill into Titanium to make a hole?

We want pictures and sound clips. I ordered the Titanium exhaust Rodan Box I know the ceramic ones look better but I just want it to cool off super fast due to its location.

My ceramic coated Rodan box is cool enough to be touched within minutes of turning off the engine.

Well Ryan informed me that the Ti ones aren't available so I am getting the Ceramic coated ones now.

Does anyone know how to make the baffles that are referenced that DoWorkSon did?
