I just receved my motogadget M-Lock   popcorn

After playing whit the thing I came to a conclusion

......usseless ...... bang head

The main reason to have it was ...no more key ....

I didin't though about the stering lock!!!! Roll Eyes

It's just an additional lock...   altough, if you forget the key on the bike
.....like I ussually do from time to time... nobody can start the bike ...
the M-lock is essentially a 200$ switch.....  I cout have bougth a toggle swicth for 2$ and  I would have the same result

Much cleaner then a tacky ass toggle switch, and a steering lock is useless against theft.

Yes , it's mucth cleaner ... the only thing is that I park my bike on the  street  when I go to work

I would really like to get rid of the steering lock ...   options ?

I dont have a garage...   and sometimes I park it on the street.  That why I need a sterring lock

At this point I think I'll put the sterring lock on the bike but I wont wire it ....
I' ll use it only as a regular lock  and I'll wire the M-lock somewere on the bike

She 'thinks' her bike is more secure.

I used one once...forgot to unlock it and immediately high sided pulling away from a curb. Grin

 Cheesy

Easiest way is to pick it up and put it in a truck, but this works as well. Those locks are useless.
